I think it looks great except for the Quasimodo looking eyes for headlights.

Ah, it's just winking at you! Cool looking bike, good for the sport to have some more competition.

the headlights don't concern me as much as the different left & right side panels. The left panel is more open and the right looks like a set of fish gills.

Still, I do like the bike.

Wierd. I wonder if it has to do with the exhaust being on that side?

I like it! Lights and all. But, it just looks like an update or customized CBR1000RR to me?

if the head light and the panel issues were resolved it would make a better looking bike, but it still all comes to performance.

Are they trying to go for a Two Face look? Don't get me wrong though, I'd still ride it.

i was just reading up on this bike it says it has 142kw and weighs only 191kg wet. which makes the most impressive power to weight ratio in the class. by comparison the fireblade has only 130.7kw 199kg wet.

There's an article on this one K1300S in Motorcyclist Mag this month. Seems like it has a little better ergos than most sport bikes, 175 HP, Inline 4 and Shaft Drive. MSRP is around $15K. I like it. Also come in a sport touring model (GT I think).

no real discredit to the bike just thought this was funny, i was at the bmw service counter the other day and a guy was dropping off the new 1050 tiger and was stating wow i could get used to the smoothness of that thing wonderful bike! So i had to ask so what are you picking up he said a k1300s , i guess he should test rode a bit more bikes b4 buying

That said i think the s1000rr looks are typical for race bike just trying to be differnt for the beamer guys Now that aprillia

im refering to the BMW S1000RR here and i need to make a correction. its wet weight is actually 204kg not 191kg(thats it dry weight)

I dono... 1300 BMW? Or the Busa? Obviously you won't get the stock heated hand grips, or abs, or the anti-wheelie framastat that you get with the BMW, but for the price you could trick the busa out. I do know that if you have a valid mc licence BMW will let you test anything they have... too many choices and not enough flippin cash!
