Hi fellas, i'm gonna share my videos here.

Yes i know, they are made in Spain, which is far far away from you, but if you learn a bit watching them, something like Spain is more than Andalucia and there are no bulls and desert everywhere, i think they will do the job.

Because I live in Asturias, the land of celts and bagpipes in Spain, just up in the North.

This last summer we've been in southeast of France, Carcasonne zone mainly, for a week. Now (yes, now, haha) I'm making some videos i want to share.

The first day was 700km on highways, so very boring until arrival at evening. And Toulouse ain't attractive.

The second day was way better. Few kilometers to Albi, nice place, and then some secondary roads to Carcassonne while visiting some villages and cathar castles (Catharism). We could have done it though main roads, but why.

I promise i will keep updating asap.

Avispao.....great name.
I hadn't put the two together till I saw the little "Hornet" on the logo at the bottom right of your videos.
Someday I hope to visit Spain.
I hear it is very pretty.
Great vids.

Haha, yes. I run a Hornet, so i am "horneted".
There's a lot of spanish people that didn't get it yet, because there exists a proper meaning for the word, that means smart, sharp, bright... a mixture of all these terms.

Spain has many wonderful places to visit and cultures to experiment, and all of them are different. Andalucia is one of them, the most reknown, Catalonia is other... but each part of Spain has its own. There is a celtic culture with bagpipes and cider in the nortwest, where i am, for instance.

Anyway, this trip was in France, on the other side of the Pyrenees.

Wow, it's been long since my last post.

Last weekend i went out for a ride with 2 noobs friends of mine. They've been riding together for a while because they didn't want to join me because they say they don't want me to wait for them.
They have a strange idea of my rides.

You can see the colors of my countryside

New record, for me. 281km (174mi) to the panic light. I thought it was broken.
That made 5.14 litres/100km = 55mpg.

Yesterday i was named road leader for a route in my MC. We only ride together 2-3 times a year, so we aren't very active. It was a twisted route, with 3 mountain passes. I had to ride at 80kph/50mph most of the time because i was losing them (except a 1600GT).

Bikes were a full mixture: my 919, GS1200, NC750X, KTM 1290 S.Adventure, S1000XR, Vstrom, Vulcan 900 and 1500, Bandit 600, bmw 1600GT, Goldwing 1800... The Vulcans didn't enjoy the ride too much, they will have to buy new pegs. :grin2:

I'm back from a BIG trip. From Spain to Italy in a ferry ship, then to Montenegro in another ferry, and then pointed north to Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Italy again and back. 4800km. and 2 ships to avoid the expensive motorways through France. A interesting travel but not so much good for riding, there was a lot of traffic near the coasts (august is august).

In Italy i rode the Amalfi Coast road, and it sucked because of the traffic. I'm quite sure that in any other month it would be MUCH better.

Last sunday i went with my MC to do some kilometers, 430 to be exactly. We made some passes, and a route that visited 10 small dams.

This is the spanish chronicle, with pics.

And this is the video of the first part of the day, the "climb" to Piedrasluengas pass (1355 meters).

I mainly used main roads and they were good (yellow color in googlemaps). Side roads on the other hand were in all shapes, from good tarmac to gravel. But they are working on that.

I was very suspicious about how they were going to be, because you know, a poor country with a war not so long ago, but they surprised me. It seems they are using well the EU money. And also surprised me Montenegro, with lots of russian money invested there. I was very satisfied visiting those countries, and good beer is very cheap. I would like to come back to explore more places. But Europe is big and has many places to visit, who knows.
