there was a thread awhile back on this exact vid.

probably stock or -1 in the front... you can power wheelie in second then click 3rd and walk it good.

Never seen such squid-like behavior on a 919, it's cool!

I would love to learn how to wheelie, but I'm too wussy to learn on my one and only precious 919. And I have 17t on the front. And I could, ahem, lighten the load a bit.

My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.

Future unidentifiable meat pile.

Oops, oil pickup went dry!

He is having a great time, though.

I just keep imagining revving the engine, dumping the clutch, and flipping backwards.

I used to do wheelies really well on my bikes when I was a kid, it's a mental block kinda thing, I think.

Same here, but I used to wheelie my 929rr and my Superhawk. Not for very long stretches at all, maybe a block. That was enough.

The zx10r makes things happen way too fast. It feels like I am riding a rat trap just beginning to spring shut, and springing shut is going over backwards.

Not at five thousand feet. It will still do it, but you'd have to have a hand full of rpm's, dump the clutch, sit back, yank the bars, and pray.

These are full out stand up wheelies I speak of, not just lifting the front a little.

If I could do this with my GIXXR project I wouldn't have to buy a front wheel
