Not bad! I know, I know. Things are a little slow this morning.

When you push the print screen button nothing will happen. In the background, it will capture a shot of your screen and store it in the clipboard.

After you push print screen, you will need to open something like Microsoft Paint, Microsoft Office Picture Editor, Adobe Photoshop, or some other graphics software.

Paint comes with Windows and the Office Picture Editor comes with Microsoft Office. In either of those two, just open the software, click edit, then click Paste.

After that, you can save it to your desktop and upload the file for all to see. In Paint you will need to make sure in the Save As box you save it as a JPEG file. Bitmaps are huge!

EDIT: I'll do a new thread with how-to pictures and maybe we can put it as a sticky somewhere.

Press Any Key To Continue.

I threw together a quick How To in a PDF format but apparently we can't upload PDFs to the site so here's a link to good instruction without images. My images are attached. Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows

If you have Vista, just type snipping into the search bar in the start menu. It's a snipping tool that will let you highlight any part of a page and save it as a pic.
