Question TCX Boots

You guys have any feedback you can give me about these boots?

I'm in need for a new pair and newenough has the TCX SS Performance 2 Race Boots on sale.

Not familiar with the brand. Seen them advertised in magazines in the past.

Input, Pros, Cons???

Thanks

I got a pair of TCX X-Cube boots just over a month ago from newenough.com. It's the first pair of motorcycle-specific boots I've owned so I can't compare them to anything. I do have around 1000 miles on them and so far and the quality seems to be great. They are holding up fine and they fit comfortably from near the moment I put them on. I had a little trouble with shifting at first primarily due to my lack of experience wearing high boots but also because they were a little stiff. Everything seems to be much easier as they break in and I get more used to wearing them.

I can't remember where I read it, but there was a review about this boot which said the 'feel' of the protection was not up to par. They said that the shin plate ankle reinforcements were lacking. However, I haven't tried them myself, but I thought it might be useful info.

Motosport.com has them for $139 I think.

been using mine for a little over a year. i'd buy them again. great performance street riding boot. buddy has them also and he likes them. get'em! TCX used to be Oxtar and Troy Bayliss wore Oxtar. If it's good enough for Bayliss its good enough for me.
