Quitest Helmet?

What's the quietest helmet we can actually get here in U.S.?

From reviews it sounds like Schuberth R1, but we can't get that here.

In 1915 T. Roosevelt said, in a speech to the KofC, "There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. "

You can get the Schuberth. Just have to work a little harder to get it... I have the S1, and I'll be hard pressed to put another helmet brand on my head (but that's as subjective as all the oil, tires, octane, etc... debates that rage within our kingdom, so whatever...).

Dainese Airstream.

I find it quieter than my Arai Corsair. The Suomy Spec 1r on the other hand is pretty noisy.

I prefer my Arai with ipod, but it will depend on how the helmet fits you.

My shark carbon with drill in foam plugs is very quiet. It is MUCH quieter than shoei's boiler engine room. I am in search of flush mounted ear buds for autocom. Good luck!

My Scorpion EXO-700 is pretty quite. A lot quieter than my previous HJC, but I believe that it could be even better. I have been very happy with my helmet.

My old helmet I had that fit perfect was an Arai Quantum/f. Apparently dealers don't carry quality helmets anymore.... Arai and such are all special order! But my Arai fit perfect but was not quiet and had poor air flow.

My Suomy is a little noisy but it is super light and gets great air flow. I would rather wear ear plugs and have good air flow then a heavy helmet.

Riding all day or track days in a heavier helmet is a huge difference. My neck was always killing me.

You should be riding with earplugs, so the difference won't be too much between helmets.

Unless you buy a KBC helmet. The have the Ear Bleed System that allows maximum levels out wind noise to pummel your ears to the extent that even with earplugs in you get fatigued.

I wear a Shoei X-Tec helmet. I never thought it was that quiet really, untill I rode with a KBC, that is.
