I saw the ad in the latest Sportrider. Look nice, I wonder how much they cost? I am on my 2nd set of Sidi boots, first was Vertebra and now Vertigo Air. I like em so far.

Apperently they're selling some of the line in the Puma Boutique's on Robson St. (that's our ritzy drag made to seperate tourists from $ and to give the local wanabee's somewhere show their bling).

go to www.pureacceleration.com I know the owner Frank just became a dealer and has already sold a pair cheaper than anything you can get on the net.

I just talked with Frank and he is giving an amazing deal on these boots. Only problem is Puma only accepts orders 2 times a year. Th last date to get an order in this yar is the 28th. After that no one in the country will be abl to get them for another 6 months. PM me for an awesome price on these boots. If you're concerned about the titanium toe sliders and thier legality at the track, don't worry. The titanium is just a cover to protect the plastic slider underneath while you are on the street they come off easily for track duty.

Sorry buddy. They are actually better than the Gaernes. I sold both of them before.

Tough to find. They contracted with Cycle Gear as their sole US Distributor.

Give Frank a call and should should be able to give you more info. I haven't talked with him in a couple of weeks so I don't know when the next ordering timeframe is.

Sorry this is such a late post to this thread. I thought it was a joke when I saw the Puma ad last year, but they really do make boots.

I bought a pair of these ten years ago and they've got lots of life left:
http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/...s-p-16558.html
They're a bit heavy, but just the ticket for icky weather and "combat" commuting in the cold.
I see there's also a "combat lite" version out.
Made by Sidi

I plan to die young, as late as possible.

I just found this:

http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/s...2+racing+boots

I'm still sporting wood for these boots ... anyone have any experience yet? There's also a more sport/street/tour style also.
