MotoGP Corkscrew leather jacket

Saw this jacket on closeout at Newenough and thought it looked quite nice. I can't offer much as far as a product review or quality from MotoGP, but the description from the Newenough page is usually quite helpful. It looks to be marked down about 60%. Just passing this along in case someone finds it useful.

Bunch of people over on sportbikes.net bought these when they went on closeout and everything I've read from people that bought them was positive.

Looks like a good deal to me, I'm tempted to buy one but it really isn't what I need. I've already got a pretty nice leather jacket with armor. What I need is a hot weather jacket, mine is all black and damn near kills me in the heat.

I was in the same boat -- took me quite a while to find a good mesh jacket with CE armor, in white. I'll never understand why so many people wear black hot weather gear, seems to defeat the purpose.

Totally agree, what did you get? Fieldsheer or Cortech?

The only one I could find that met my requirements -- mesh, liner, CE armor in shoulders, back, and elbows, in white -- was Joe Rocket. Not my first choice in gear, but I really wanted white with armor. And it gets pretty limted use up here in the northeast -- maybe a dozen times a year -- so it ought to last a while.
