Looking to get a new helmet.

I'm looking to get a new helmet I have the lower models of HJC and KBC, they were both given to me when I started riding. I've had them for a while now, and looking to upgrade. I thought I was superman for a while(this summer) and rode way too much with out a helmet. Part of the reason was heat and weight, the other part was, no matter what anyone says, there is something about riding sans helmet that is just more fun. Until your face dances with the street. So all in all i'm looking for a good light ventilated helmet. I've bee looking at the Icon Domain. Seems nice and I like the lines. Someone posted a link to a really cool gold w/ mirror visor helmet in a thread a long time ago I can't find. I remeber liking that helmets looks a lot. Very Bling. Any comments, suggestions, direction, anything will be appreciated. I'm moving to Texas in couple of months and I am really excited for year round riding. And since I'm going to be on a bike so much I've decided that I am going to wear a helmet full time. I guess ventilation will be key in that Austin/San Antonio heat. Thanks for your help.
Man that was sort of long.

Price range? I still have a few Arai RX-7 Corsair Black left that I can give you a good price on. I also have some KBC's but I think I am out of Mediums on those.

Right now I'm using a Scorpion EXO 700 series helmet. Good helmet. Somewhat lighter than most but great ventilation system. They sell for about 250 biggie fries. Check em out

Size?

Depending on this I can shoot you a price on the Arai (perhaps you want to upgrade your head ) and also on the KBC's which I know for a fact they'll be within your price range.

I just wear my Red Sox cap backwards. Besides looking way cool. Having it reversed helps with aerodymanics.

Shoei RF-1000

I'm getting a red Shoei RF-1000 for 199.99. Plus I have a $20.00 off certificate for that shop. I've looked around and found them for $350. $179.99 out the door seems like a really good deal to me.

The RF-1000 is a good helmet, I've got one and have no complaints. I have it and a Quantum-II Hacking which cost me much more $$$. I like the fit of the Shoei more and wear it more often.

You may already know this RD but if you don't, here it is; Aria's come in three different shapes; Long Oval, Intermediate Oval and Round Oval. The Astral-X and the Vector are the roundest of the bunch and they come in Black!

I tried on the new Scorpion EXO-1000 yesterday and I was very impressed. The flip down sunvisor is a very cool feature and you can really get a custom fit w/ the inflatable cheekpads. Just be sure to deflate them fully before slipping it on your head.

Another vote for Scorpion. Great helmet. I also really liked KBC helmets.

They are great helmets for the money.

I ride with a Shark RSR 2 (Muggeridge). It is like a dream. It comes with tons of accessories including a Formula 1 face shield (3mm). The helmet could not feel more solid, and it is quiet. As for the padding, everything is extremely plush and comfortable. I kind of feel like I'm flying a fighter jet when I put it on. The ventilation is easily controlled and so far I haven't had any issues with fogging (despite riding in 35 degrees this weekend) nor sweating. If I had to wear one helmet for the rest of my life, this would be it. Keep in mind that I've only worn HJC CL-SP and Shoei RF-1000. If you're looking for a GREAT helmet, the RSR 2 is it.
