HJC cs-12

Anyone know how much this thing weighs? My friend gave me his old one. Like it better than my old KBC because of airflow and the breath guard but on my head it feels like it weighs 3 times more. Maybe it's just the way the weight is situated. Anyone have experience with them. Also I'm leaning towards buying a Scorpion exo 700 thoughts?

If it's an HJC and the model starts with a "C", then just assume it really is about 3x heavier.

Go w/ Scorpion over HJC any day. If you can find the new EXO-1000, try one on. I have not seen one in person yet.

I only wear my own helmets that I buy brand new. They form to your head, and it's much safer.

Get some caulk, duct tape, packing peanuts and a plastic bowl and make your own. Lazy kids...

I'm buying a shoei rf-1000, red. I'm getting for 199.99 plus I have a $20 off gift certificate to that shop (I bought my 9er there) seems like a pretty good deal to me.

PM sent. Picked up the Shoei last night, loving it. I looked at the Scorpions at another shop. They looked cool and had some cool features but seemed a little heavier than what I was looking for. Plus after the discounts my Shoei was way cheaper. I do like the flip down sunglasses on the Scorpion exo-1000. I also like the feature on the Shoei that keeps the visor up a smidge. Thanks for the help guys now I have a helmet that won't be torture to wear.
