gloves for guys with Wilt Chamberlain hands

Ok folks. I have freakishly long fingers, much the same as my lanky arms. My problem is that I can get gloves to fit everywhere except in the length of the fingers. I ended up buying a pair of Alpine Stars SMX gloves in an XL size last year, and now that I've worn them for a season or so I hate them. They are just too big, but I bought them that way to fit my fingers. I really need a size smaller, but I need more length in the fingers.

Any suggestions? I tried on A LOT of gloves at Cycle Gear and haven't really found a good fit. I noticed that Cycle Gear has a closeout sale on a lot of Yoshimura apparel, and thought about checking those out.

I appreciate your suggestions...as always!

try on every single pair you can find until you find a pair you like. Even look at Ducati and BMW shops, because they typically carry different brands from the Jap bike shops.

have you considered amputation of the last joint outward on each finger??

i know it sounds extreme at first but hey look at the benefits....

gloves fit..... check
never have dirty nails..... check
never have to trim nails again.... check...

downside.... much harder to pick nose...

i think the checks have it...

be sure to post the video........

(i have long fingers also and found a pair of joe rocket gauntlets that i hope never wear out)

well, I think I'll reserve the amputation option as a last resort.

So you dig the Joe Rockets eh? I'm not sure they even had those at Cycle Gear.

I've tried on a LOT of different gloves, and haven't found anything that comes close, Zookmor. I bought my first pair I mentioned, last year at Cycle Gear and tried on nearly every pair until I found those. I was hoping to hear some suggestions, and thought I'd try to order a couple pairs from New Enough or some other site.

Ironically St. Louis seems to have a small selection when it comes to apparel. We have Cycle Gear, and Donelson Cycles. Donelson tends to carry really old stuff, yet charge retail prices. Cycle Gear I love, but they don't have a lot of variety.

I'll continue my search.

The first generation Veloce gloves were long in the fingers and cut a bit big
