Front shocks

Will CBR 900 shocks fit straight into the CB 919 triple trees? I'm keen to swap the front end of my CB with a CBR 900.

No luck. They are a different tube diameter and the forks are very short in general.

Bugger! I've seen pics of this been done, do they use the complete CBR 900 front end then including the triple tree?
