Dogs and Motorcycles

So my dog has been away due to my roommate being allergic and now Che (my boy) is coming home! I was wanting to buy a pack to securely fasten him to my back. Who all here in WT has dogs and takes them on rides with them and what do you use. He's medium sized so a large pack is necessary. Looking for ideas/ options on this. (Any and all suggestions and pictures please)
Thanks!

I'd have to use duct tape and bungee cords to get Angus on the motorcycle so I've got no ideas, good luck.

Good lookin dog BTW

I rigged this up for my 40 lb heeler a little while ago. A bit heavy but works well. The tray is a used electrical box (painted) and the top is some kind of cylindrical cage I found at a scrap yard. All bolted in to the stock seat pan (I have a corbin). We've been on a few rides and he enjoyed it.

You know what, thank you for bringing this up, "we" have a new dog.

All of my life, I've had "dogs", "dogs" being Labs or Huskys or, well, "bigger" dogs.

Now, thanks to a rescue, we have a shih tzu, and I'm thinking, he could easily ride in my tank bag (open, of course).

hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

when I first read the title of your thread I thought it was about close

encounters of the canine kind, which we all have had our share of.

but after reading your post I see what you are trying to accomplish

with your furry friend, good looking hound by the way. I would have

to sport a sidecar to get my daily work companion to ride with me. you

could always glue some carpet onto your tank, like that desert racer

in the movie "On Any Sunday". here's a pic of my buddy "Sparky"

Sorry I can't find the link right now.. but have a look around advrider.com. I read a thread on this subject on that site once. Posted by people that have had their dogs tour all over the place with them.

Seems you're just asking for poop on your bikes.
