I haven't tried the O'neal pants, but I love my Answer Mode pants. Same essential design, nice to have the ability to transform to shorts when done riding. Easy to get on/off, hot at times since they are the 600 denier, but they dry fast. My kneeguards easily fit under them as do the full MX boots.

Good find - I've been rocking jeans since the dawn of time for my weekend drives - it is about time I got a little more protection.

i have a pair for riding the trx450r and they work great. have held up well and it's really nice to make them into shorts when taking a break. zippers are a pain when covered with mud. at the price they're offering it's a tremendous steal and i recommend them.

Fugly doesn't describe this sh..

Did anyone else notice that the piping that looks reflective isn't and the words O'neil is actually the color get this if the brown isn't bad enough I admit the brown was on the fence for me but i've never worried too much about looks but LIME GREEN

Check them out again do the enlargement and adjust the viewing angle it's friggin LIME GREEN piping and writing all over!! I like to be noticed and well he is just trying to be noticed but i'm drawing a line there. I got to keep them no returns on closeouts so maybe rags!!

Other than the color combo stuff:::::

I'm a 34 and ordered a 34 and can bearly button them, I need to lose weight but still too tight.

Also they are a for a very short guy!! maybe 30 inseam!!! Everything zippers quality seems ok and plenty of pockets I'm hoping to negotiate for a helmet shield or something of the sort.

I wear a 32/30. If you wear a 34 and can barely button them maybe they'll be closer to my size.

Let me know if you want to get rid of them and I'll send a check, or paypal.

Not too crazy about the fact that they zip off into shorts. I would be led to believe that's the weakest link on these pants.

I've only found one pair of riding pants that I like and they are made by Alpinestars : Alpinestar Twin Leather
Great fit, comfortable, and the protection of leather. Little warm for summer months......

I bought these Icon Hooligan pants a few years back and they seem to be decent for what they are, but the cut of them is way off for me:
Icon-Hooligan-Canvas-Pants
They are apparently cut for riding with full length boots as I ordered 34x34 and they are cut really generous in the waist and short on the length. They are more like 38x30, so if anyone wants them they are up for grabs at $20.00 plus shipping. Been worn once over a three day trip then in the closet since.
