British Motorcycle Gear Mercury Jacket

Picked up a BMG Mercury Jacket
Fits me well. Warm as well as waterproof. Has more adjustments than you can imagine. Arms , chest , wrists , neck.
Storm-proof flap uo front , Zipper to attach to pants. The liner took me 5 mis to take off and 20 min to put back in.
Knox armor at the elbows , shoulders , and I opted for the spine protector.
Took a little to adjust to the back armor , but now I don't even know it's there. The only "armor" I ever had was my pocket knife and my S&W .Vents for warmer weather.
Reflective piping and shoulders. Way too many pockets. Took me awhile to find my keys.
One really thoughtfull item , the snaps are covered with rubber-like coating. No worries about scratching anything. The neck has neoprene material under the chin so it won't chafe my baby face !

Do you carry your S&W when you ride? If so, how--shoulder, IWB, tank/tail/sidebag? When I carry my Sig it's always been IWB, but I don't see that working very well on a bike.

The Smith is in a paddle holster. My sig P-220 fits in the left front chest pocket.
That paddle holster would really hurt if I fell on it without some padding so ,
In the summer when clothing is minnimal , i carry a Hi-Standard 22 Mag Derringer in my pocket.
