Arai Opinions

I have a Quantum 2 Right Now. As well as a Shark Miguel Duhamel Replica. I was looking at this Arai XD3 Luster Red

I ride mostly twisty backroads.

The Arai RX7 series helmets fit me quite well.

I have heard they are noisier than some other helmets. Since I wear ear plugs, that isn't much of an issue for me.

I havent heard anyone complain too loudly about thier Shark, but, then again, I only know of one person rocking one -

As for the XD, I can honestly say its the most comfortable helemt Ive ever owned.I wouldnt do a long trip or alot of highway travel in it just cause it buffets really badly at interstate speeds and is a little loud sans plugs. Are you just looking for a new helemt or are you looking at getting sometihng more dual sporty ?

A little more Dual Sporty. I really don't think a normal full face fits the way I ride the 919. After being on the RR the 919 is more of a motard/MX style bike to me. I.E. Quick rips through twisty backroads struggling to keep the front end down constantly. I like the visor on the Dual Sports since I am not a huge fan of wearing sunglass's and as you fly around where I live the sun likes to peek through the trees and blind you at random.
