Question Anyone tried this carrier?

My gf and I travel quite a bit and this would let us drive together and let me do some sploring.

I have never heard of or seen these before. Assuming its legal and doesnt break the tow hitch seems pretty cool.

Looks like the one I have, it carries the XRL nicely but not sure I'd trust it with the 9er

Those are usually designed for 500 lbs. I wouldn't put anything heavier than a Ninja 250 on one.

I see one rated for 550lbs, the 9er is 450 lbs so I guess it might be ok, Im more worried about the tongue weight on the tow hitch than the carrier itself.

You'll need to make sure your tongue weight can handle it. You'll also need to stiffen up the rear suspension otherwise you'll get mega sag! Otherwise, it's a great option!

I believe mine is rated at 550 pounds, no sag issues with my F250, the main issue I would have carrying the 9er is the height the carrier sits, makes for a pretty steep loading angle.
