Any ideas?

I have been searching for a mesh armored jacket for my wife. She is quite tall and thin. Most ladies small jackets fit her torso fine, the sleeves however stop in the middle of her forearm. Any jackets that have decent sleeve length fit poorly on her body and most of the armor is not near its intended location. It seems nobody makes tall sizes for women, and the smallest tall size for men is a medium... far too large. Do you good people know anyone who does custom mesh? Or perhaps someone with the skills to tailor an off the shelf jacket? She is a new rider, and recently got her own bike so I need to get a move on. Thanks, Derek

Vanson is the only custom maker I can think of at the moment. I know they have mesh available, but I don't know if it can be tailored to her measurements. It won't hurt to make a phone call though.

Delphi Forums has a group "Women who Ride". They have a section on clothing and I'm sure someone there could help her with how various brands fit. Or I can toss the question out there if you want me to.

Thanks Kristen I would appreciate that. What are Delphi Forums? Maybe I can get Amy to have a look there. Ridge, I'll try Vanson as well. Thanks.

Do you want me to just cut and paste your question? Or you can pm me her height/weight. I don't want her to sign on later and be freaked out by seeing herself being discussed.

Try http://www.motoport.com/, they make custom mesh stuff.

Good luck.
