Thumbs up 100deg day and my JoeRocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket review

I got the White/gray/black version. It's just as cool as just a tshirt when riding. The last one I had a few years back was one of the original all mesh versions that didnt seem as study but, when I gave it away it did save my buddy from any road rash.
I like that the new version has heavy canvas where the pads would contact and mesh in the right places. It came with a windbreaker/rainliner that I havent used yet. It also has snap over belt attachements to keep it in place in a crash or from riding up and a zip in pant attachment to connect to you two piece set up.
The local shop was stocked with the 4.0 versions so it seems around here that online is the only place to get one.
I really liked the improvements and for $134 shipped+ no tax I would do it again. Fit was accurate in my opinion. I bought a large and have a 44 chest and 36 waist

Does it still have the extra visor pocket on the inside?

I rock a 5.0, too. I had to get the tall version for my 6'2 185 lb frame - only comes in black. I use it here in Phoenix - I don't know that I would go so far as to say it's T-shirt like, I still get quite sweaty with it on, but I haven't found anything out here that does a better job.

I have similar jacket. It's super cool during the hot day, but a bit chilly to wear in the early morning ride.
