You meet the nicest people on a Honda

Hi everyone, I just picked up a slightly scratched up ‘06 919 on Friday and I LOVE IT!!!

Previous bikes include a 1968 Sears motorscooter, 1975 HD Sporty, 1979 Yamaha 650 special, 1981(?) KZ1100, 1969 Yamaha DT175, and a 2002 Vulcan 800.

Message, that's an odd color. Evidently been repainted.

Other than that, it looks to be in decent shape. Rare, that someone left the rear fender, and exhaust alone. Those are usually the first to go.

Where are you from?

Itís been repainted, and poorly... perfect for customization.

It still has the California emissions equipment, along with a spare stock seat. The bars show a little damage from being dropped, and thereís some scratches on the engine casing. Plenty of fun stuff to play with customizing it.

It runs great, and I love it.

Iím waiting for a fairing that WT member Viral Vendetta used to own, and I think Iíll be switching to some Renthal Lows or ultra lows... along with tracking down all the luggage I can figure out how to mount. I commute, and often have a ton of things to bring to the various shops I travel between.

I donít know the bike that well, and have been sticking to reading the FAQ topics here instead of throwing in my half-baked two cents.

I live in Colorado... northern front range. I grew up in LA and the Bay.
