Congrats! welcome to the happiest days of your life.

Now be careful exiting the lot, don't get so overcome with excitement that you pull out in front of a bus or something.

We expect pics when you get her home!

Great picture! I wish I would of taken a picture of myself when I first got my 06'.
On a side note, looking at that picture, it looks like the black plastic side panel right below the seat might not be seated correctly. Pop the seat off and make sure the tab is in the oblong hole. The seem between the panel and the seat should be more consistent.

Don't forget to check the 919 "Tips" thread.

PS..Great avitar! I found a big brown praying mantis in my shop last week.

Ken - not sure of a name yet, maybe Ruby, maybe not. I dunno if shes even a she or a he yet.

Hasbeenracer - You were right the tab was popped out, thanks for the heads up. However it does not seem to secure very well, kinda like the tab is a little to low to catch in there real good.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me here!

Alright, we've all seen (and love) the bike, now it's time to show off the tattoos.

2003 Honda 919 - flapper mod, Clear Alternatives Smoke Tailight w/ integral turn signals, Stebel Nautilus air horn, DIY fender eliminator, LED license plate bolts, LED front turn signals, no resistor or new flasher so I blink like crazy.

dream - regarding the protective gear... I musta been the only person in Colorado wearing full gear on a Harley. At work they called it my "spacesuit" and they enjoyed clowning on me. I don't care though, its my skin and I paid a lot of dough on those tats!

cdanao and koogmoo - You guys are in Hawaii, cool. My sister lives in Oahu, I haven't gone there yet but I hear its beautiful!

Looking around at the pics of all your 9ers I already have my mind full of ideas; mirrors, pipes, blacked out bits, handlebars, fly shield...etc. Better start working overtime.

Congrats on the new bike! Sweet!
I get the "space suit" comments alot in the cooler months when I use my Aerostich and electric vest / gloves.
For the tabs, I ended up drilling a tiny holes and inserting cotter pins. Works like a champ!

I plan to die young, as late as possible.

Congrats on the new bike, was in Sun two weeks ago and saw it sitting on the floor looking out of place with all the cruisers and crotch rockets. Nice to see it get a good home, glad to hear someone else around here wearing full gear.
