Talking Okay

Howdy folks, thought I would stop by and learn some stuff about my new 919, forums look interesting so far. I love this bike after riding Blackbirds and a recent 1000RR, it's like riding a real motorcycle again as I used to do several decades ago

Welcome to the forum. I see you're from FL. You might want to refrain from mentioning warm, sunny weather as it stirs up some of our more "Northern" folks.

Maybe he is referring to the Blackbird, we all know which member rides or did ride one of those.

Many of your questions can be answered in our 919 Helpful Topics.

Thanks for the welcome, and yes the 1000RR is a "Real Motorcycle" by todays standards but a few years back when I started riding there wasn't anything like that on the market or the street. Had Two 02 blackbirds and loved both of them. I traded my last one several months back for a new ST1300, got bored and bought a new 1000RR, saw five crashes on it the first 3400 miles so I traded it for this bike as a matter of self survival. The upright riding position and lack of fairing reminds me of my first new 1970 750 Honda, a Real Motorcycle......is that better?......

Now you're talking. He is the one I owned back in 1971.
* Custom midnight blue paint job
* Rickman seat and tail section
* Aftermarket front fender
* Tri-Mil 4 into 1 exhaust system
* S & W rear shocks
* Dunlop K81 tires
* Plasma disc
* Relocated front signals
* Dyna III electronic ignition

Tell me more about your CB750. KO or K1 model?

It was the first year with the rough case, bought it from a junky with 600 miles on it, scared him to death. He sawed the ends off the cans and I never did anything to it, was a rear hand full for the day as you know. Kept it three years.
