Cool

Welcome! I envy you if you end up with the Bandit 1250! That's the bike I had my eye on back in November until I found out that there were still some leftover 2007 919's floating around. I was determined to find a naked/standard and buy new, and the Bandit 1250 was the closest I could find to what I wanted. But I still hated that fixed headlight and was determined to find a way to make it fully naked if I bought one! But I got a great price on my 919 instead and am very happy. Hey, the sales people were starving in mid-November, and I had CASH! EVERY dealer kept beating the previous price and the ball kept rolling downhill: $8300 out the door including all their hidden charges that are sheer profits but disguised by names such as "set up" & "freight", etc.

I, too, am a relative Newbie here! I love it! I've learned more from THIS forum (the only one I've joined in many years!) than I ever learn from local dealers and friends and bike owners!

Yes, the Bandit 1250 is freakin awesome, but after you read some of the millions of posts in this forum about 919's, you'll trade it in and buy a 919.

Again, welcome to the forum!

Nope, otherwise I would have one already. We get the same bikes you get. Sometimes just in different colors.
