Not really new..more of "Hi...I am alive and back"
You ever have one of those friends you used to see all the time and then for some reason you don't hear from them for over a year and you wonder....what ever happened to that dude?
Well, I was kidnapped by Amish Extremeists protesting the advancements in technology....not really but anyway...
For those who don't know me I was around here at the start and used to post a lot then life got kinda crazy and I vanished for a while to all but a few on here. I ride an '01 TLR with a crazy paint job and now live in San Diego. I am the Materials Manager for Wave Loch a company that builds and powers sheet wave water attractions. Our office is part of Wavehouse San Diego on Mission Beach in San Diego. I used to live in Ohio and went to LOTS of races.
Haven't been to a race in a while but still follow very closely. I am into all kinds of sports and even more since I moved. I love being active and outside. I do not know a lot of people in the SoCal area and am looking for soome SANE riding partners.
Welcome to all the new people and to all the old guys who know me....hello again.
I was trying to remember everyone who did live in SoCal. I remembered Sugs and darkace.
I have done a few rides since I have been here but not as much as I thought. Jamul, Palomar a few times, Julian and up the coast.
I live in Point Loma, work on Mission Beach. I bicycle to work every day and were are a 1 car family aside from the TLR.
This Saturday would work for me. The wife works all day. She enjoys going for rides also but we have plans for another hike on SUnday with some friends. Been getting into that more since I have moved here.
You're right man it has been a while. Not sure if you remember me, but I came down to your place (Bellbrook area right?) and spent the afternoon riding with you and Angela a couple of years ago. Sounds like things are going well for you guys. Not much to miss about the Dayton area, that's for sure. Glad you guys are doing well. Welcome back!
Hey, welcome to San Diego TLR Nate! I was wondering where you'd gotten off to. Bummer that you just missed out on a ride we did up Palomar this past Saturday. I'm generally always up for a run up Palomar, hard not to be when its in your backyard. Not as spontaneous as I used to be though, I've got a wife and two daughters.
Welcome back Nate, can always use some more sane Socal guys. While work and a recent house purchase prevent me from going on long rides much, I will keep my eyes peeled and join up where I can. There is a good bunch down there, enjoy.
