Not new to Motorcycles but....

Hi there,
New on here as the owner of a 2006 919 I picked up from Sleezebay this past summer from a guy who bought it in March and did not ride it much (1978 miles) anyways, I have riden motorcycles all of my life, and was at one time a MSF Instructor but no worries about any correctness, I just love riding! I own Harley's and Japanese bikes, and have owned many in the past of both.

Current bikes
2006 919
1994 built one piece at a time by me looks like a springer
1984 early Ironhead Sporty
1984 KLR 600
1953 Servi-car (project at this time)
1942 WLA Engine and Frame NOS (Still putting it together)
1985 ATC200M
1997 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4X4
1985 ATC 70
2006 Kazuma 110 Falcon

Some are mine, some are the wife's ride, and some are my daughters rides.
After 20+ Years of Military Service, I found a secluded part of Florida and enjoy my bikes, so if any of you come up to Gaskin, Florida way, there is a bar out here and that is about all, I will buy the beer.

Just wanted to throw a hand in the air and say HI

Welcome and enjoy.

Welcome to Wrist Twisters! I've spent a little time near Perdido Bay, which I think is just a little west of you. Nice and deserted. I love that area of Florida.

I was in the Air Force, and did 15 years of it overseas. I was fortunate to be able to ride in The Philippines, Australia, Okinawa, Mainland Japan, Korea, England, Thailand, Singapore, Malasia. I either rented bikes while in country, or I was stationed there and rode my own. I can say I was blessed to see and do what I have done in my life, and if you have ever been to these countries, you would understand I am blessed to still be here to write this.

Thanks again for the warm reception, and I will help out when and where I can. I have been a Mechanic my whole life, worked on Tractors, cars and trucks before joined the service, and after a short stint in Combat Controll training, I was a Airplane Mechanic for the majority of my Air Force Career.
C-130's mostly, with some C-141, and C-17 at the end of my career.
I frequent Diesel truck sites, as I have been into those as well, and have a writeup to fix the t-case on the GM trucks. Mechanics are in my blood.

Thanks again!

John

I Can and will ride anything!
