Just found this site and look forward to getting some useful info from you all. I was, well still am very active on TRX450R.org and 450R H.Q. I was one of those guys that liked to play in the dirt, but I'm making the switch to the Street as I can enjoy riding without having to load up and go some where. Now I just roll out of the garage and hit the road.
here are some pics of my old ride "Ripper"
I have sold the quad and replaced it with my very first street bike.
This was the day I bought it, and my wife was posing for me. Isn't she a little hottie!
2007 Honda 919
This is less than a week later with lower bars, CRG Bar end mirrors and the rear fender removed. The replacement tail/turn signal light is on its way and I decided to do my own plate mounting and save 130 bucks.
Here are some pics of our other vehicles, 525i for a night on the town and Land Rover Disco II to haul the family around.
Yes that is a good avatar. I get many complements on it. Like I stated in the first post I am pretty active on a few of the TRX450R sites, so if you've ever been to one of those you've seen my avatar.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I will be keeping you updated on the progress of this bike (build). I can't leave anything alone so I'm sure that once I figure out what is what with the street bikes It will be a full blown stoker motor. Its a real problem I have! I love to wrench as much as enjoy the fruits of my labor from wrenching.
for now I am on a search for the best exhaust (performance vs. dollar). I like the sato but i know there has to be others out there.
Whats going on! This site seem pretty cool, I think I'll like this one.
I tried to get into the Abate class yesterday but everyone showed up so I got sent home with my tail between my legs. I'm going agian tonight in hopes the rain scares some of the people away. I am scheduled next week for it but I want to get it over with as soon as possible, especially since my license is expiring soon I would rather go for a renewal and the the motorcycle endorsement at the same time. Don't want to spend to much time at the BMV... Plus, this not riding at night crap is for the birds.
