New to Wrist Twisters

Hi everyone,

I'm new to wrist twisters, live in Phoenix, AZ and in my late fifties. The last bike I owned was a Honda 919 which I sold about 10 months ago, so I'm not riding right now. Thought I had to sell for financial reasons but ended up not having to, so I'm thinking about buying another bike. Can't decide if I want to get another 919 or go to the cruiser style.

Any comments about the two styles are welcome. I like to get a variety of opinions.

Thanks all

Welcome John. Lots of great bikes out there. Best thing to do is ride as many as you can. You know what the 9'er is like. Cruiser wont be quite as fun in the twisties, but probably better on the highway.

Good luck!

Welcome John! You know we are going to push you back to a 919 right? Cruisers are good at just that...cruising. Your only 50 so you can still have fun with the more sporty 919!

Welcome! Everyone on here will be able to help you out with stuff on the 919 more (not to mention it's a blast to drive), but that's just my 2 cents.

Welcome fellow fifty-something JohnB.
I have to agree with Dave. About 12 years ago I went from a Katana 750 to a Magna 750. Even with the V4 power it wasn't long before a started to miss the capabilities of a sportier bike.
