New to forum and riding

Hello,
I'm new to riding on the street, although I grew up in the country riding dirt bikes. Having lived in the city (Seattle) for a few years now, I decided to get back on two wheels and purchased a 2005 FZ6. So far, I'm loving it! Just wanted to say hi, and if there are any other Seattle riders on here, let me know, I'm looking to get out and ride as much as possible.
Cheers,
Dylan

I did join PNWriders, thanks for the heads up. I'll probably hold off on any track days until I'm a better rider, but sounds like fun!

Do the exact opposite! The track day we're going to, includes track day school all for the great price of less than $200! I've heard you'll learn more in 1 day of track than you will in 5 years street riding. I can't say if its true or not since I've never been to a track, but been riding for almost 8 years now so I'll be able to report back after the track day lol.

If you still don't want to do the track day itself, no worries. Do look into taking some courses though, its well worth it.

Welcome to the site Dylan! Glad you made it on. We have an eclectic bunch in here from all over. Like PV says, you'll have better luck with group rides at PNW but there is a ton of knowledge in here and a great group of people.

You're more than welcome to join our track day but if I remember correctly, the under $200 price was if you signed up before March. There's a thread for it here: https://www.wristtwisters.com/forums/...ers-29580.html

Welcome Dylan, really like the FZ6. I came close to getting one of those myself instead of the 599. Enjoy and ride safe!
