New owner of an 04 cb919 after a 99 Honda Magna

Glad to find a community that can help me with this new beast, cause I'm gonna need it haha. Will definitely be looking to do the exhaust/pc3 upgrades soon among other things. Prepare for frequent questions!

ahhh the magna :P you have some pics of that muscle bike ? should've kept both.

I'd like a magna as a future cruiser alongside the 9er

Gday and welcome designated. I love this site. Answered most of my questions (some stupid) regarding my 919 and helped me get a neglected bike back from the dead. Nice bunch of blokes.

I do actually haha and I wish I could've cause she was a good ride but I could only afford to own 1 and I sold her to get the current 9er cause I wanted something sportier. And good to know about the questions cause a lot of mine will likely end up being dumb haha

Welcome! I donít think youíll regret the upgrade. There are some really knowledgeable people on here and some great, useful stickied howtos and general threads.

You'll know if you start asking dumb questions if we start asking about scrubbing tires with bricks and checking your blinker fluid levels.

Other than that, fire away

more like watch out for abusive mods like MM and Google...

Welcome. Single best upgrade to do to your 919 is a quality rear shock and reworked front forks. The difference is night/day and so much more fun! Then do exhaust/pc3.

Started my moto adventure with my old man dropping off a busted up 84 500 Magna. Thing was a POS that had major engine damage. I'd be able to ride about 10miles at most without it flooding on me. But, it started my career. Threw a progressive rear suspension on it. Was a fun tiny bike.
Welcome to the club

do an engine swap with the vfr800 to get a bit of a more modern power plant and there you have it the ultimate magna
