I trailer the bike down the Dempster hiway every summer and take a two week ride. Last year I did Alaska and this year I am doing Alberta and catching the western regional HOG meet in Prince George. We do get about 24 hours of daylight here in the summer for two weeks. Oh BTW I moved up here for the money...lol, early retirement on the way

Saskatoon here. Looking like we are maybe a month out from an early start to the riding season.
Inuvik. Well it's beautiful country, but you can time your riding season on a stopwatch.

Welcome to the site - I couldn't survive on 10 weeks per year, at least you get to do 2 weeks at a time! I can't say that I've ever done that.

... and I thought it was bad in Minnesota... Welcome!
Have been fairly inactive lately, but the winter lull in riding and the search for good parts has brought me back.

Ok, I am a property manager for a 42 unit apartment building.
The photo from GOOGL3IT is a utilador. All pipes for water and sewer have to be above ground because of the permafrost.
I have driven the ice road but not for pay.
It is good to find a forum that gets so many responses.

I take it that is 35 F. I start riding when the temp reaches 32 F and have ridden in temps as low as 20F.
