Welcome to the forum man. There's alot of great info and ppl on here. I live about 25 min south of Chattanooga, we've got some pretty good twisty mountain roads around here. Looks like your ride could tear up the twisties, sweet lookin' machine.

I hear Chattanooga has some seriously fast internet. Yes?

WELCOME! From a person who lives in the city with the worst broadband speeds in America.

...not joking. Voted two years in a row.

I just moved here so I'm trying to find all the cool things here. Love it so far. And the Internet is the fastest in the US from what I hear.

During the summer they have "Night Fall" downtown. They block off several blocks and pack 'em full of bikes. Live bands, drinks, bikes, definitely a good time to be had. .

I guess if you bought a motorcycle so you can socialize that sounds like a good time. Personally I prefer to ride mine.

Of course you buy a motorcycle to ride, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy hanging out with like minded people and scopeing out some sweet bikes on occasion.

Meh... My days of looking at LED tailights, fender eliminators & pussy stripes wide enough to land a plane on are over. Too much bullshit & fictional tales of all the riding they don't do in those parking lots.

I believe we're in agreement there. However there is no denying, in the words of Chris Cagel, "the chicks dig it".

That's why I married a woman I met at the racetrack. She never complains when I buy new bikes and she accepts Ohlins, Brembo and Sharkskinz for Birthdays, Anniversaries and Valentines day

Sounds like you've got a good one there. My wife likes scootin' around on her 125XL, and ridin' 2 up with me, but thats about it. She doesn't accept parts for any holiday, that's all me.

What about Victoria's Secret?

Lingerie is a waste of money I mean why spend your hard earned dollars covering up the exact parts you are trying to see unless of course your woman is fat or something

You tell me this - which is faster to get your wife out of:

A nice lingerie getup?

Or track leathers?

I wouldn't know, she doesn't bother with that kinda of stuff. She's not the typical woman by any stretch. She doesn't bring attention to herself even on the track she wears mens leathers and doesn't buy into the pink stuff etc. She's very low maintenance, likes racing, shooting, surfing, diving, flying, sailboating and world travel. Could care less about what she drives back & forth to work, kids or even clothes for the most part.

It's an amazing difference. I feel like I'm floating compared to my CBR. I can't wait until summer time here. Warmer weather. I took a morning ride today and it was in the 30s. Looking forward to some warmer weather for sure
