Bob...you can either attach pics to your post by uploading from your computer them using this ....or you can store them somewhere else on the net, like photobucket or flickr and link to them using this......You just paste the url into the box that pops up. Here's the way they both look

Yeah, the seat bolster helps keep your butt from sliding back.
I wish I knew how to load a friends of mine clip of him running his with the same shorty megaphone set up, but don't know how to get it over here.
But if you want to hear one go to Home of the All New Yamaha Star VMax Forum register or whatever to get to the forum and scross down until you see the topic of the Xpipe and select page 9 and my friend Bad_Max did a clip of the megaphones this past week.
The X pipe is what everyone is replacing the cat converter with, it really opens the exhaust up.
Someone that knows how may even be able to move the clip over here.

Bad_Max is a really cool guy, although all he has about 7,000 miles on his bike and is on his 7th rear tire. (loves to take off spinning).

Hello and welcome! Sweet bike you got there. I found this on youtube, is it what you got on yours? Sounds like a racecar! If i heard something like that pull up next to me, I'd probably faint LOL.

That video is of Bad_Max from Florida, He and several others are doing most of the new product testing for the 09 VMax. He has replaced his cat converter with the Xpipe system, He now has the Scorpion mufflers installed. He was just funning around with the shorty megaphones. I'm on the list for the next production run of the Xpipe, hope to get it within the next couple of weeks, but I will stay with the stock mufflers. Bad_Max did this week send me a pair of the shorty's (thats the ones in the picture of my bike). Like him I was just playing around to hear the sound. He's a real trip, he once said his bike was paid for, but he still had a monthly payment of $200.00. He meant he was going thru a rear tire per month. I know he has put atleast 7 on.
His bike and Tim Nash bike (VMaxGuru.com - Welcome to my V-Max Site!) were the two bikes that set the new record with a new 09 VMax at Brandeton Fla dragstrip about a month ago. Jay pee-wee Gleason was riding Tim's bike.
Jay is the guy that Yamaha had introduce the 1985 VMax at the MGM Grand and they wound up giving him a new VMax for setting a record of 10.30 back in 1985.
UFO performance has their own 09 VMax they call the Battlestar. They have stripped a lot of weight off the bike, and installed their own 4into1 exhaust.
They are hoping of getting the Battlestar into the 8's.
Most all the new bikes (not just the VMax) is so de-tuned that it's unreal, There are so many tech's out there now figuring out how to by-pass so many things on the fuel injected bikes now to create more hp.
Oops better shut up now, post is getting to large.
Later
Bob
