I did a little racing on 1967 Honda 50cc when I was real young and crazy.

Smile Another Newbie....

Just found this site also.......Bought my '06 919 on Friday, still in storage until spring up here in New England, definitely not soon enough to try out the new wheels. I'm not 5'3" and weigh more than 135 by about 50lbs, but still have just recently retired from the jockey business, seems like the horses just keep getting smaller! Thanks for listening, Hell Yeah!

Ditto! I welcome you both! If you're looking for any technical advice you might want to make sure your printer is hooked up and you have LOTS of paper because in this forum you'll learn more than you ever imagined was possible about 919's! I sure have! I was taking notes but couldn't keep up with all the excellent advice! So now I just copy and paste stuff into Word documents, sorted by subject.

Again, welcome! I'm a little wet behind the ears here also. Just joined in early January. Been riding for over 35 years but just go my first fuel-injected ultra-light bike with radial tires: a 2007 919.

Glad to have you both in the forum!

Still thinking of the National Cycle PLEXIFAIRING GT windshield. It looks good on the picture with the black 919.

The '06 919 that I just bought had 2 Leo Vince cans tucked under the seat, and an aftermarket windshield. I think I'm gonna try it like that for a while and see how it goes. Not looking for outrageous noise from my ride, just cruisin' and commutin'.
