Cool New Guy in the club!

I am just one day old owner of my new 07 919.........I was about to buy 2008 FZ6 but it was 200 miles away in Seattle. Before, going to seattle, I stopped by my local yamaha-honda dealer to check about FZ6 and Guess what !!!!!!................I saw the beauty THE RED 919...........it took my heart and I walked out with this baby....its my first bike...love it..

First bike, congrats! I highly recommend taking a MSF (motorcycle safety foundation) course if you haven't already. Wear your gear and enjoy!

hello hello, congrats on the purchace. The 9'er can make a great first bike (it was mine) but you do have to respect it, there is a lot of power there and it can get out of hand very quickly, one of the scariest things I did was years ago I grabed a hand full of throttle, then closed it off and got in to a bucking/tank slapping motion like riding a bull... I quickly learned to be smooth after that. Make sure you check out the helpful topics page in the naked section, lots of good info in there.

Hello and welcome. It's amazing you're only one day old and can already ride. Somebody call Guinness.
