Wink New guy from NJ

Hey guys...

Sort of new rider( 2 years) , had a mid-life crisis and decided to get my licesne.

Started on an SV650, made my hands numb..... went to a 2000 VFR, OK, but didnt like the riding position. Sold it for financial reason and bought a 95 Magna, just to see if a cruiser suits me....... it doesnt.

I have decided a naked sport bike suits me. So I am making the jump for 1 more time, and hopefully this will be the one.

I am 99% sure I am gonna get a 919. Sat on a few, very comfortable. Got the chance to ride an 06 around the dealers driveway, and I think I love this bike.

So I am now looking for a new home for my Magna and a used 919 to replaced it.....

Yeah, Magna is now on Ebay!!!!

Should sell , I hope.

Still deciding if I should go new or used........ Seems like the Clean Used ones are going for around $5K, give or take depending on year and miles.

I have found a dealer in South NJ, that will sell a new ones for about $7K plus tax and fees, little under $8K OTD......

About $2500 differance once all is said and done......

Well, tommorrow is the big day!!!!

I deliver my Magna to its new owner, and on the way home, I pick up my NEW 2006 919!!!!

With what some of the people ask for their used ones, I decided might as well go new...... I got it for $7300 + fees

Future Mods.....

Heavy Bar Ends

Sliders....... Will wait for Motivation to redo theirs

Pazzo Levers...... had them on my VFR , I love em

Fender Eliminator...... can anyone reccomend one?

I cant wait!!!!

I like your logic... Nothing better than getting a new bike, the '06 color rocks.

To get a idea what I did with the rear fender click on my signature Mike's bikes and look at the 919 page. Cost was $0.00

Congrats on your purchase.

Welcome! I'm originally from the Jersey side as well. Born in Elizabeth, and grew up in Marlboro till I was 21. Been here in Houston since '91. I do miss the Jersey Shore.

BTW, any chance you want to sell that GTO?! My parents still live there, and they can take it off your hands, eh? jk/lol

You couldnt pry the keys to the GTO from my cold dead hands

Just got home with my new baby!!!! Wow, what a color.

Time to order the Pazzo's, and wait for Motivation to redo their sliders.

Great pics Troy, I still think that red color is hot! We need to get another ride together (once I get a new wheel). Quite a few guys within a reasonable distance on here.
