New guy

Hi...
Guess scince I have already asked a question I should introduce myself

Just got my '02 919 Last Friday... kinda annoyed with the stealership...
bike was less then 20 miles from 8000.. and instead of doing the oil change etc they threw on a new set of tires and called it good to sell..
Prior to that I was riding a '83 GS750E.. which was a sport bike right before they decided that sport bikes had to be wrapped in plastic and be rolling torture devices... Was mostly keeping up with my riding buddies (all on modern sport bikes) with the GS750E ... we will see how I do this weekend on a trip to Ark

Oh.. got the GS750E last August and have put about 12k miles on it... prior to that I was off of bikes for about 8 year... don't know how I didnt go crazy during that time.... 'course not sure I didnt.

Once again, welcome aboard.
All the best of luck with your new ride. Keeping up with your buddies should not be a problem. They might now have a problem keeping up with you.

Well, from your first post, I would say you are certifiable since you enjoy riding around naked like some other freaks on this board. But, welcome anyway. Some of us like to keep our stuff wrapped up.

See... this is why James deemed you certifiable. How can it be naked if it is wrapped... that is not in the buff man !!!
