New from NC

New to site and wanted to say hello. Hope most of you are riding today. The temps here should be 70 today so we're getting ready to hit it. This site rocks and since I have been looking at doing some mods to my bikes, I think I may have hit the mother load. Later, JD

Welcome,

Love the bike, that would have been my choice had I not found the 9'er.

Nice bike! I was looking at the VFR also, it was on my short list before I ended up trading for my 919.

Thanks, It is a 25th anniversary model I bought this year. I bought it at the New Honda of Winston-Salem and they had the wheels powder coated white. It is a good bike but I wish it had a little more power. My 919 will suck the paint off of it when it goes by, ...in second gear! Ha! Seriously, I think of a few other bikes I wish I had bought. ZX-14, 'Busa or B-King. My problem has been that over the years, if I had a hot bike, I rode it as such. So I was trying to keep myself out of jail by buying a slower bike. That has worked so far but I guess its just a man issue.

Leanit, I think I saw your VFR at Cycle Gear in G'boro on Sunday afternoon. Or at least one that is identical. I don't see many of the red/white/blue ones around here.
