new bike

Well I just picked up my bike saturday I've been wanting a 919 for about a year now just nobody ever has one in stock .I came acrossed a new 2007 on ebay in southern indiana at a honda dealer for $6399 buy it now so I bought it. Ended up being $6933 otd with tax and everything. Haven't rode it yet waiting for nice weather but it sure feels like it will fit me better than my cbr does and the pics on the web don't do it justice if it rides as good as it looks I'am sure I won't regret putting a for sale sign on my cbr.

It's a great ride. It won't handle like your CBR without some changes but it is a heck of a lot more fun to ride.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your new ride.

I've had my cbr since new its a 1993 900rr red white and blue I'am just to the point where I don't want to work on it any more. Always something breaking I just want to hit the button and go riding.Maybe by the time warm weather comes I will keep it for a spare don't get much out of these old bikes anyway

Congrats on the new 919. It is a great all around bike... not perfect in any one thing except for being good at everything...

With good tires, your new 919 will handle just fine. Put a good rear shock on it, and it'll do a little better still.

Just curious, where'd you get your bike? West side Honda?

Congrats and welcome! Sounds like you've had a really long history with the RR. Are you planning on keeping that bike? I bet it would be tough to let go of since you've had it for so long.

Good deal Rosco... got the best color too! It will be a nice jump up to a newer bike... Enjoy the new ride.
