New 919'er

Hey folks!

Recently purchased a 2006 red CB900! It is bone stock with about 11k KM's on it.. or for you american folk about 7000 miles.
It is in pretty awesome shape and I am just super pumped! I've always liked the bikes and it seemed like the perfect fit for me and my lifestyle these days. I've been riding for about 9 years, but I haven't had a bike for the last 3, when I sold my CBR 600 F4. The useable power and comfort of this bike is amazing in comparison, but I do miss my little 600 still. First real bike and all.

I am in Atlantic Canada, which is a beautiful spot to ride if anyone ever wants to venture up this way.

I also picked up a couple givi side cases for it, but I don't have a top case. I'm actually looking for one and will probably make a wanted add for a top case that will fit my monokey rack.

Anywho - Nice to be here and I've already been taking advantage of the wealth of information available. See you around!

The Hornet can make an excellent pack mule, with a hole lot of giddy-up.

Congrats! I have the same year/color combo and mine is bone stock as well. I have a few dings in the tank and she's getting close to 28K miles. No worries on the miles as these things just keep going.

Post up some pics when you get around to it.

We have all kinds of resources here to help with any work it needs. Just did the fork oil and seals on mine and it made a huge difference. Your's should have many years ahead of it.

Welcome to the forum. Bone stock is a great place to start from with this bike. Have fun.

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome. I will try and grab some photos soon as I do not have any of her yet - I just need to stop riding long enough to take some!
