New 919er

Greetings, So I just got back from overseas and first thing I do is go out and buy my buddy's '02 919 off of him...it's been 12 years since I've had a bike and I only got rid of the old one (92 Honda Shadow) after I killed it in a crash.

So...My finely honed riding skills are now either really, really rusty or non-existant at this point. I used to have a blast zipping around the freeways in southern California, and in the mountains of colorado after I moved back home...then I quit riding, having almost lost my leg in my wreck...But, being a slow learner and addicted to riding, I'm back! Pics of my new ride will be coming shortly!

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

Thanks everyone! So, I'm already a dedicated modder, my first mod was to myself with the aforementioned leg injury in my wreck back in 97...got a custom titatnium rod inside my shinbone from that one. Good news, I'll never break that leg again...might bend it a bit, but won't break it by golly!

Modifications to the new bike will be much more fun, I'm sure!

welcome to the boards. take the msf course. it will teach you more in a few days than you'd learn on your own in a few seasons of riding.
