"New" 919 Owner

It's new to me anyway! I just started riding at the beginning of the spring, my wife got me in to it, and I have out grown the Ninja 250 that I bought to learn on. The 919 is an 02 with 4200 miles on it that I picked up from a local dealer. The bike had one owner and was very well taken care of, obviously he never rode it. Anyway, after three rides I had to do something about the seat. I have sent it in to be "Spenser Modded". I hope to have it back by next weekend. Nothing worse than having a new bike in the garage that you can't ride.

If anyone is up for a ride in the DFW area let me know. I am in SW Arlington near Kennedale and Ft. Worth.

Jason

Howdy. New seat = good. You'll be happy you made a change.

Jason,
I just bought a 2007 919 2 weeks ago and love it. I just took it in for it's first 600 mile service. I didn't notice any discomfort with the seat ( maybe a change from 02' to 07' ) However, I am interested in the seat mod. Let me know what you think when you get the seat back.

Is this a rhetorical question?

Take an extended ride and you'll know what he/we are talking about in reference to the stock seat.
