New 919

Hello to all. I just purchased a brand new 07 919. This was a much needed move up from my "starter bike" 06 Katana. I did not realize how much I was really missing out. I hope to learn a lot. Good luck to all and be safe!

I saw there was another UGA fan here so just for fun...

Howdy. Locktite your bar ends and shift linkage bolt now.

Hmm how come some get the stainless split pipes and some black. I read a theory that stainless had the cat installed but so do the black steel ones we get in NZ. Possibly just a different supplier?
I notice the Cal ones get a big can thing under the swingarm (puke).

Plus all the USA 919's get the flat black side covers - these changed to flat grey in NZ with the fork change in 04 (black looks better I think).
And I have seen different turn signals - all ours were the size of small lunch boxes where I've seen USA ones in a smaller more modern style.

And the New Zealand ones go faster he he he he
