New 06' 919 owner from Hawaii

Hi all, Just wanted to stop by and say hello to all 919 owners. Got my sato s/o, p/cIII and givi front shield installed. Also installed gold pazzo levers and new mirrors. These sato slip-on's are kinda loud for my taste but will give them a try for a week or so. ..

Will post some pics as soon as i find some bikini babes that will be willing to stand by her

My favorite island. Beautiful is a understatement. I remember taking a helicopter tour, we were cresting the Na Pali coast line. In the headphones the song Somewhere over the Rainbow by Is' Kamakawiwo'ole was being played. How fitting!!!

Hey MisterMike, What a coincidence that you mentioned helicopter tour of the napali coast. As it happens to be, I work as a Helicopter Tech. There at the Lihue airport. What company did u fly with? and did u remember ur pilots name, cause we know all of the Maint. Techs and pilots.

By the way, Thanks all for the warm welcome guy/gals hope to post more with pics soon.....Aloha nui loa.

Almost positive it was Island Helicopters, the pilots name was also Mike.

Aloha kakahi'aka! I guess I am the other forum member from Hawaii. I would love to ride on Kaua'i, but some residents will not allow the Stupidferry to dock. Been to Maui on the Superferry, had a blast going 12 o'clock on Haleakala. Awaiting the new station opening on the Big Island. In any case, welcome.

riding is an addiction, no matter what you ride.

Howzit cd, nice meeting u. Yes i had my hopes up for the superferry to run from Kauai to the other islands, Especially haleakala I hear it is a blast to ride the twistys there while you climb to the top. Elevation is about 9-10 thou??. So i am relegated to ride our version of our twistys here, up in Kokee state park(Sigh).... I also own a cbr900rr, but after riding my "niner" with gobs of torque and low end power, The RR stays in the garage most of time under wraps....lol.

MisterMike: Yeah i know that pilot that you speak of, Mike G. Ex; US Army Apache pilot. He is no longer flying for Island helicopters. He switch over to Blue Hawaiian helicopters.

I have a Gixxer too. I use the 9er to pack my wife. She will not ride my Gixxer at all. In case they start the Supperferry up again to Kauai, I will sure to look you up. Mahalo!

Hey! Mahalo! I once dove at Poipu and took a dollar bill from a Sea Anenomie. He was holding onto it for some reason. I told him thanks. Great times with the wife there. Just great.

Hey bigdaa, You didn't by chance notice if the dollar bill was attached to a piece of monofilament that a tiger shark was holding...lol. I used to dive for fish there when i was younger. Now i just go to the fish market if i want to consume some fish.
