My first 919

Greetings all. I just bought a 2004 matte green 919 with 524 miles. Amazing bike with everything I need.

The previous owner did not take the greatest care so I have a few places to touch up on the paint. Suggestions on touching up matte finished paint?

Also, the pipes are a mess from road grime and general discoloration. Any suggestions there? Is it fixable?

Sorry for my ignorance but I am new to the street bike scene. Most of my experience is off-road where dirt is your friend.

Thanks!

Robert

Congratulations Robert and welcome.

Here is your best bet for paint: https://www.colorrite.com/index.php
If you have small spots to touch up us the paint pens they work great. Just make sure you ask for and follow their instructions.
