My 919

Hey guys. I bought a 2006 CB900f 919 last June. I love the bike but it's been hard finding aftermarket parts for it. It already has a stage 3 Programmer and Yoshimura exhaust. I wanting to change the swing arm and rear tire. I wanting to switch to 240 tire size. And Im looking to change the seat coweling, headlight and my guages.

Well I can't really help you out with much at all. I did put an LED headlight in the stock headlight bucket. Bright AF!
And welcome.

[QUOTE=MyCB919;1353001]Hello Zand25:

Uuh. Yeah My 919 was the subject. I'm trying to upgrade my bike, my particular 919 to run just as fast as the big liter bikes. I'm wanting to get a wider back tire and extend my Swing arm bout 2 inches. But I might not do a extended swing arm.

It's the OEM windshield for the Honda 919.
I really like it. Takes the wind off ya chest but does put it onto the top of your helmet. Ya can tuck behind it but.
Also got rid of the exhaust stink from the back of my jacket, random.
I hit a bird the other day. It struck the windshield, flew up over my helmet. I watched it in my mirror splat on the road behind.

Wider back tire is only for looks and will do nothing other than slow the bike down. Extended swingarm again is mostly for looks but will help slightly if you're doing drag strip runs frequently.

Neither of these things will do anything but make the 919 a worse bike, and nothing is going to make it as fast as any liter bike.

That being said, if you like the look and can deal with the lowered performance and have the knowledge and ability to do the work, or the money to pay for it, then go for it, and I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

I learned to just enjoy my 2007 919.I did remove the baffle, worth it. It already had a tail tidy when i got it.After many years changing things i figured honda knows how to build a bike better than me.Roll on power wheelies are enough for me.
