Hi all - logged on & was informed that I've never posted.
I have a 02 919 with 35000 miles on it that is partially disassembled right now. Bad rear wheel bearings - I have the wheel out and inner race came out but the outer race is stuck. I am trying to cut it out right now with a dremel. Using information from this forum, I bought the all-balls bearing and the a bearing removal tool for $50. My bike has the basic mods - Sato exhaust, Power Commander, lower handle bars, tail light integrator. I swotch back to the stock counter sprocket and went +2 on the rear sprocket (or is it -2?), it has a lower top end.
Other than this bearing issue, the bike has been trouble free, which is more than I can say for the Ducati 749 I bought a couple of years ago.
