Cummings..... I chuckle every time I see that name. I never made it past the 3rd grade mentally.

Lake Lenier and all that Jazz is that was as well as Road Atlanta, right?
I could look it up, but then what would be talk about?

Hi Nate and welcome aboard! I get down to your area once in a while -- my sister-in-law is from Social Circle. Would love to see pics of your VTX1800!

Welcome to the fray. We got a neighborly bunch here. Just mind where you step and clean your shoes before stepping inside.

There I was... preparing the Welcome Mat. I was actually going to risk a Cyber hug and welcome you to the mad house. I was even considering sharing some Saki with you.

Then you had to say you gave up an RC-51 for a 919 ?!?!?! It's not like I "really" like RC-51's.... or anything.

Shame you gave up the pic, welcome to the site...... all the same.

Though I've been "lurking" for several months, I'm a newbie to the site, also. I owned several bikes from the late '70's till the mid-'80's, but bought a 919 after 20 years of not owning a bike. This site helped me make a great decision on the 919. I bought my '06 2 months ago, and it had 1452 miles on her. Ironically, I owned an '81 900F I bought new. I paid $3100 OTD back then. The two bikes may carry the same moniker, but MAN are they different! The '81 was carb'ed, air-cooled, and weighed 100lbs. more than the '06. There is about 20hp difference, too. Compared to the "old-school" liter-bikes I owned, it's like comparing a Cessna to the space shuttle. In short, I love the bike. I'm down here in Texas. Ya'll come see me sometime...
