Hello and welcome. You should have no shortage of suggestions very soon on how to be best parted with your money.

welcome....Good luck with upgrades, but as far as getting that raw power the best thing to do is NOS....I'm sure you know about changing out sprockets....but not a whole lot after that.... Bucky is our local drag racer, and will chime in soon I'm sure.

Welcome Brian! If massive HP gains are your goal you might have purchased the wrong machine. Ride it for what it is. It is a very usable, well mannered, street machine. It will get you into all the trouble any other bike can get you into. One big difference is that it can personalized to fit your image and you will rarely run into someone else riding a machine like yours.

I've had all the hi-powered bikes I want. My 4 month old 919 is more fun, easier to ride and lets me use more of the bikes capability without scaring the crap out of myself than any bike I have ever had. Thought I might miss the wind protection of the faired sportbikes but instead found the bliss of a quiet, turbulance free helmet area. Where a sportbike is only fun at 70+ mph, the 919 is fun at lower speeds too, safer with less chance of getting tickets. Living here in the central texas hill country the cops, deer, buzzards, wild turkeys and other hazards are on the increase making it wise to tone it down a notch.

Hello. I like Peeps cause they make me feel good when I eat their little heads.
