honestly i couldnt find and fz-1 that i wanted to drag home, i like the 01-05's better than the genII's but everything i found either was busted up, needed a ton of maintenance, or had carb issue's (like the one yesterday that i drove 180mi one-way to get, owner said it ran like a new one) this little 919 i bought was owned by a 70yr old man, only 27xx on the clock, and it did look and run like new

there's several bikes there that i still wish i had in the garage. i forgot to put my 06 zx14 in there, i sold it to buy the 919 because i wanted something diffrent (not many 919's in this area) iv got the 919 & a 08 zx10 now, im thinking i'll hold on to these two bike for awhile its almost like they have some personality to them. im a sucker for an old kawasaki ujm though, i love getting them running, riding them awhile then selling them to find another one. i just got rid of a prestine 81 750 ltd. one other thing, i love this sight, it seems like there are people on here that actually ride motorcycle's, over on zx10r.net its more posers & squids

Man, I saw this thread pop up and I thought "It has been another week, what has he bought this time?" Didn't know if he tired of the FZ1 already and got something else.

Poor 919...used, abused and discarded like an unwanted piece of trash. Replaced with the one who has tigger bitties.
