Hey guys I can't believe I have never been on this forum and my good friend runs the damn site I use to be on the old motorush site under the screen name salex. I am on the rc51.org board and a couple of others. I know Kevin (Jetblast) he is a very good friend and I actually met a bunch of you members at his party this weeknd. I was the one that was that was lucky enough to get a corner named after myself! Hopefully I will get to meet more of you in the future. I am bad with names but I have been browsing the site and some of the names look familiar. I am from Chicago and don't ride on the street anymore strickly the racetrack.
Welcome Steve...and I just wanna say to Bock...that phrase cracks me up....
When walking around bundled up in coat/gloves/etc. and someone asks this I just wanna say "No, I like it better when it's so cold I have snot-cicles hanging from my nose and certain parts of my anatomy actually try to retreat inside me!"
With that said though, when it comes to extremes, I prefer very cold over very hot. You can always put more clothes on, but can get arrested for taking to many off. But my experiences with very cold probably differ from yours. Virginia is the highest north I have lived, so very cold to me is probably mid-spring temps for you.
Just moved to Texas in June, and people around here are bundled up with blankets/gloves/etc. at football games when it is around 50 outside. That's hilarious!! I am not quite sure what very cold is here yet. Guessing if it hits 30's people freak.
Yeah it is to cold. Driving 18 hours up from Tampa yeaterday I got a reality check. I left Tampa and it was 75 and sunny. I had to get out of the truck 3 times to fill up and every time it was colder the further north I went up. 32 and windy when I finally got home
Welcome aboard Steve... It was great meeting you at Jet's. Are you ready to try some more of those killer Mexican sauces that we had Fri. night? I hope those cuts and bruises on your leg are healing up.
